Privacy Policy
Jadwily is an iOS app that helps university students organize their semester. This page explains what information the app collects, why it collects it, and what happens to it. We wrote it to be read, not skimmed past. If anything is unclear, email info@jadwily.com and a person will answer.
What you give us when you sign up
When you create an account, we collect:
- Your email address, first name and last name.
- Your university. If yours is not on our list, the name you type in and its country.
- Your degree type, your year of study, and your major if you choose to add it.
- The time you want your daily summary, and the goals you pick during setup.
Your semester content
Jadwily works by keeping your semester in one place, so it stores the things you and the assistant put into it:
- Your courses, deadlines, study sessions and class meetings.
- Graded items and the scores you record for them.
- Course files you upload, and the text the app extracts from them so the assistant can read them.
- Your chat messages with the assistant.
- A permanent record of the actions the assistant took on your behalf. We keep this so every action can be undone.
This content exists to make the app work for you. It is your semester, not a product. We do not sell it and we do not share it with advertisers.
Analytics
We measure how the app is used so we can improve it, and we do this carefully:
- Before any analytics event is stored, your user ID is hashed with HMAC SHA256. That turns it into a scrambled code that cannot be traced back to you.
- We only log shapes and counts: which screens were opened, how many messages were sent, whether a proposal was confirmed.
- We never log content. No message text, no course names, no deadline titles, no file names. Ever.
Who we work with
Jadwily runs on a small number of services. Each one only receives what it needs to do its job:
- Supabase provides our database, file storage and account authentication. This is where your data lives.
- OpenAI powers the assistant. It generates the assistant's responses and reads the files you upload. The app never talks to OpenAI directly from your phone. Everything goes through our own server first.
- RevenueCat manages subscriptions.
- Apple handles Sign in with Apple and all payments.
How long we keep things
- Chat transcripts are deleted automatically after 7 days.
- Analytics events are kept for 12 months.
- Everything else, your courses, deadlines, files and account details, is kept until you delete your account.
- Cancelling a subscription never deletes your data. Your semester stays exactly as you left it.
Your control
You can delete your account, and all the data that goes with it, from inside the app at any time. You do not need to email anyone or wait for approval.

Where we operate
Jadwily launches in Kuwait and is built for university students across the GCC.
Changes to this policy
If we change what we collect or how we use it, we will update this page and the date below. Meaningful changes will be announced inside the app.
